As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience, I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges. I will offer you a judgement-free space to move toward personal growth and self fulfillment.
I utilize aspects of various therapeutic approaches, tailored to each person's unique needs and personalities. My orientation is primarily humanistic, assisting clients to recognize and build upon their strengths.
In addition, I use techniques from CBT to assist the individual in recognizing harmful thought patterns, and investigating experiences, including trauma, that have led to distortions in self outlook.
Whether in individual or couple/marital therapy, my goal is to provide a supportive and empowering space for healing and growth.
My areas of expertise include working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, levels 1 and 2, and their family members, individuals suffering from anxiety and depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma.
Additionally, I am committed to providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals and guiding parents of special needs children through their journey.
I believe that with the right tools and support, everyone has the ability to create meaningful change in their lives. My approach is rooted in compassion, empathy and understanding.
